Just when a big mystery is about to be unveiled, CBS does what it does best as it barely releases any information at all when it comes to what is about to come up. In the official synopsis, it reveals that the mole has once again compromised the entire team. Planted evidence will result in the arrest of Sam Hanna (LL Cool J), G. Callen (Chris O’Donnell), Owen Granger (Miguel Ferrer) and Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) when Undersecretary Duggan (Jackson Hurst) will return for Hetty’s resignation.
Based speculations that have been going around, fans could be in for a lot of big reveals in the next few episodes. What is interesting is that even when the mole’s identity might be found out, there could still be a deeper plotline coming. There may be a lot of procedural elements to the show but this could be the most serialized version.
A closer look at the teaser already reveals by itself how bad things are going to get, writes Cartermatt. For one, fans are about to see arrests. A lot of people that are going to be targeted and there will be an attack that looks calculated. Presumably, these are meant to destroy the organisation from within its walls. While fans saw how the mole operated discreetly earlier, things are about to go full blown now.
