"NCIS New Orleans" Season 3, episode 23 will show a deadly shootout on a crowded street in New Orleans, according to a CBS press release. It will happen because one of Mayor Hamilton's (Steven Weber) accomplices that Pride's team is tracking, will open fire. Unfortunately, a lot of people will be at risk and the suspect also has the perfect chance to disappear.
"Down The Rabbit Hole" was directed by Ed Ornelas and written by Brad Kern. It will also feature the rest of the "NCIS New Orleans" cast which includes Rob Kerkovich (Forensics Agent Sebastian Lund), Essam Ferris (Warshak) and Daryl "Chill" Mitchell (Investigative Computer Specialist Patton Plane).
According to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), the guest stars in this episode will be Wilbur Fitzgerald as Judge Dorsey, Lisa Mackel Smith as the sobbing wife, Gretchen Koerner as Deputy Secretary of Defense, John Newberg as Vice Admiral Thompkins, Ronnie Rhodes as New Orleans PoliceDepartment (NOPD) Officer and Donald M. Krause as NOPD Officer Norris (uncredited).

"Down the Rabbit Hole" is the episode after "Knockout," which shows Pride discovering a link between the illegal activity in Clearwater and Mayor Hamilton. It's connected to the murder of a Clearwater Baptist Belle Chase Navy Chaplain and pastor. Aside from this, Percy will also deal with her choices from a previous case and its effects. It will be aired in the US on May 2 and is directed by Gordon Lonsdale. Greta Heinemann and Chad Gomez Creasey wrote its story.
Meanwhile, "Poetic Justice" comes after "Down the Rabbit Hole" which will be aired on May 16. It was also written by Brad Kern and directed by Ed Ornelas.
