A highly emotional day awaits Ramsay Street residents on the upcoming episode of “Neighbours.” On Wednesday, Dee Bliss/Andrea Somers (Madeleine West) discovers that her efforts to fool the Rebecchis and everyone in Erinsborough is all for nothing. Dee finds out that the money she’s expecting from the Bliss estate is all gone – a clear case of karma getting back at her.

Naturally, Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) feels somehow responsible for the women pretending to be his ex-wife and kid. Spoilers suggest that he will promise some monetary support for Dee and Willow Bliss/Somers ( Mieke Billing-Smith), but this may not sit well with Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey). Other “Neighbours” characters who will appear prominently on the Feb. 8 episode include Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin), Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall), Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond), Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel), Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns), Ned (Ben Hall), Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) and Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano).

“Neighbours” also stars Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher), Paige Smith (Olympia Valance), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley), Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner), Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor), Gary Canning (Damien Richardson), Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson), Sheila Canning (Colette Mann), Ben Ian Kirk (Felix Mallard), Xanthe Canning (Lilly Van Der Meer) and David Tanaka (Takaya Honda).

“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Wednesday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Willow tells Dee that she doesn’t want her mum to go to jail. Dee becomes emotional and apologises to Willow. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean this to happen,” Dee cries. Willow reminds her, “We’re at the end of the line. The further we go the more chance there is of getting caught.” Dee realises what Willow is saying and wonders if they should just leave Erinsborough. “It’s over, mum,” Willow says.

Digital Spy reports that Toadie delivers the bad news to Dee: there’s no money left in the Bliss estate. Wanting to help out his supposed ex-wife and daughter, Toadie volunteers to give them some financial aid. This may result to another marital issue with Sonya and “Neighbours” know that the problems just keep piling up between the two.

Wednesday’s episode also centres on Piper, who has shocked everyone with her application to be officially independent. Digital Spy spoilers say Ned will offer her a hand to stop her from resorting to that drastic move, but it may fan the flames of the Willis family feud.

“Neighbours” recap

On Tuesday, Dee was floored to see Sindi Watts ( Marisa Warrington ) at her doorstep. When Toadie left them, Dee confronted Sindi about returning to Erinsborough. Sindi said she got worried when Dee didn’t answer her phone. It was then revealed that Sindi was also part of the whole scheme. Sindi met Dee at a cafeteria where the latter works. Sindi told Dee all about Toadie’s ex-wife and a plan was developed, with Sindi providing Dee all the information needed. However, Sindi begun having second thoughts about the whole thing. Dee reminded her sternly that they’re doing it for the money.

Meanwhile, Toadie told Sonya about Sindi’s unexpected arrival and she was expectedly surprised. Sonya had no choice but to agree with Toadie’s plan of inviting his two ex-partners or dinner. When Toadie left, Sonya shared with Mark that she’s a bit suspicious with Dee and Sindi hanging out together. Later, Sonya dropped by Robinson’s and talked to Sindi and Dee. Suffice it to say, their conversation was completely awkward. Fortunately, Steph arrived to see Sindi, but immediately left with Sonya. Once alone again, Sindi demanded for more money and threatened to expose Dee’s secret if she doesn’t agree.

At the Rebecchis, Sonya was preparing dinner when Toadie arrived. He got a letter from the lawyers handling the Dee estate and was shocked to learn that the property’s insolvent, meaning Dee would not be able to get a single cent from it.

Elsewhere, Paige’s family was busy preparing for her baby shower. Paige was disappointed when her sister expressed her regrets and got mad when she realised it’s because Tyler wasn’t invited. Paige ordered her dad to make Piper come, no matter what. Brad went to Piper and begged her to set aside their differences for just one day, for Paige’s sake.

At the baby shower, Ned overheard Terese and Brad arguing about Piper’s financial woes. Brad wanted to cut Piper some slack and at least buy her a laptop for her schoolwork, but Terese wants to continue giving tough love, seeing that their daughter’s on the verge of cracking. Piper did come and since she’s strapped for cash, she gave Paige a bunch of handmade coupons as a gift. Piper then approached her parents and asked to become her guarantor so she can be eligible for a student allowance. Terese said no, making Piper leave.

Later, Piper returned with a document and asked her parents to sign. It turned out to be an official declaration of her independence, so she could be eligible for the student allowance and buy everything that she needs for school. Everyone – especially Brad and Terese – were shocked with Piper’s attempt to “divorce” her parents.
