“Neighbours” recap
In the previous episode, Jimmy overheard Steph and Amy talking about Paul. Steph mentioned where Paul was hiding, unaware that the boy was listening. Jimmy went out to find Paul and warned him that the police are on their way. When Paul heard sirens, he started to flee and was forced to take Jimmy with him. However, Jimmy was stung by a bee and suffered from an allergic reaction. When Jimmy started having red spots everywhere and having a difficult time to breathe, Paul decided to forget about his plans to take off and brought him to the hospital. Expectedly, Paul was caught by the police and was taken into custody. It seemed that Paul is giving up on proving his innocence.
Elsewhere, Toadie gave Sonya a copy of the police accident report and was shocked when she read that Walter was in the car with her parents during the crash. She was infuriated at Walter for lying to her. When Walter arrived, Sonya asked him again about the accident. Walter was forced to admit that he was there at the car, and that they argued right before the crash. Sonya got frustrated for not getting any crucial information from him, and told him to leave. Backed up in the corner, Walter then dropped another bombshell on Sonya: he’s not her uncle, he’s her dad.
Meanwhile, Lauren was close to telling Brad about Ned’s kiss. However, she changed her mind when Brad told her about repairing his relationship with Ned. Lauren then confronted Ned about why she suddenly let go of his anger and resentment towards his dad. Ned begged her not to tell Brad about the kiss. In Brad’s presence, Lauren and Ned seemed to go along with each other. However, when they had another chance to be alone, Lauren warned Ned, “If you step over the line again, I’ll speak up.”
