‘Neighbours’ spoilers for March 24: Paige makes a difficult decision; Elly’s nightmare is far from over
Hard choices and surprising revelations come into play at Ramsay Street as “Neighbours” closes the week. On Friday, Paige Smith (Olympia Valance) can’t wrap her head around Jack Callahan’s (Andrew Morley) offer to stay in Erinsborough. She doesn’t know how he could make it work – being a priest and a dad to their child at the same time.
Her friends and family also have different views on the matter – some side with Jack but the others question the prospective situation. All these opinions don’t exactly help and instead add to Paige’s confusion. Other characters who will also appear prominently on the March 24 episode include Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta), Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin), Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall), Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson), Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano) and David Tanaka (Takaya Honda).

“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Friday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, David is surprised to discover that his mum went to Erinsborough High and worked for the Udagawas, the owners of Lassiters. According to David, his mum never mentioned both vital piece of information. “It’s just weird secrets to keep,” he comments. Digital Spy reports that in the upcoming run, Aaron helps in the investigation to determine the Tanaka brothers’ father. However, their discovery doesn’t answer anything and instead creates more questions.
Another teaser shows Elly confronting Finn again. She asks him, “What are you doing? You turn up at my school, you take over tutoring my students and now you want to move into the street.” Her ex-boyfriend clarifies that he didn’t know Elly worked at the school when he took the job. He also claims that both Xanthe and Terese contacted him. “It doesn’t change the fact that you are now in every single corner of my life,” Elly points out. “Why would you want that? After everything you did to me.” Finn hints reporting to Susan about her wild accusations. Elly orders him to stay away from Ramsay Street, but Finn says that he’s not going anywhere.
“Neighbours” recap
On Thursday, Willow visited Toadie at the hospital to explain what happened. While he understood what drove Andrea to do what she did, Toadie said he can’t forgive her right now. However, he asked Willow to go back to Erinsborough with him so he could offer her a better life. Later, Karl returned to the hospital to deliver some terrible news: first, Sonya lost the baby the other night and second, Sonya saw Toadie and Andre’s intimate moment via Skype. Toadie was horrified and became emotional as he blamed himself for the tragedy.
Meanwhile, word about Sonya’s miscarriage has spread over Ramsay Street. Mark and Sonya asked Jack to hold a funeral service for the baby and he warmly accepted despite his stand against surrogacy. Later, Jack realised that being a parent is a blessing and talked to Paige again about his role in their child’s life. Paige told him he can continue being a priest and visit them in Queensland whenever he’s free. However, after talking to Amy, Jack realised he needs to try harder and be more than just a part-time dad. He approached Paige with a stunning idea: he asked her to stay in Erinsborough so they can raise the baby together without leaving priesthood.
