Some beloved Ramsay Street characters are in for a rude awakening on the upcoming episode of “Neighbours.” On Friday, Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) becomes rattled when he realises that he underestimated Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou). Terese pulls out all the stops to compete with Paul’s event – it’s definitely an epic showdown that fans of the Aussie soap should watch out for.

Meanwhile, Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) reels when she finds out for herself that Piper Willis’ (Mavournee Hazel) claims against Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) are true after all. “Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Friday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Susan is shocked to hear that Karl paid $500 for a pigeon, despite him insisting it’s a “bargain.” Susan tells him that he’s been scammed, but Karl doesn’t want to hear any of it. Karl seems determined to win in the bird race that Lassiters has organised. It appears to be the talk of the town, much to Paul’s dismay. Digital Spy reports that he tries different tactics to sabotage Terese’s event, but she seems to be two steps ahead of him. Toadie inadvertently gives Paul a great idea – to put the cat amongst the pigeons.

Meanwhile, Xanthe shares with Sheila about what she heard from Madison and Ben. The feisty grandmother decides to avenge her daughter and fires Madison from singing at the pigeon race. However, it turns out that Madison’s helping Ben for a big surprise for Xanthe – he plans to serenade her at the pigeon race ceremony.

The episode also focuses on the Elly vs Piper battle. Susan finally discovers that Piper’s accusation against her teacher is true – Elly is biased against Piper and is grading her unfairly.

“Neighbours” recap

On Thursday, Paige informed Aaron and Tyler about her encounter with Angelina, and said that she’s pulling out from the fight. However, Aaron still had a problem to deal with – coughing up $12,000 to cover Angelina’s appearance fee. Later, Tyler confided in on Piper about the issue. The two seemed to be back on track as friends, but Piper still appeared to wish they’re more than just that. Later, Piper told Paige about Aaron’s problem – he’s about to lose all his money if Paige withdraws from the match. Piper also reckoned that Angelina’s just psyching Paige out.

When Paige talked to Dustin, he agreed with Piper and said Paige should call Angelina’s bluff. Dustin encouraged her to fight with all that she’s got and even taught Paige some moves. Paige told Aaron and Tyler that the fight’s back on.

Xanthe was getting jealous of Madison, who seemed to be spending a lot of time with Ben. She ranted to Gary and Sheila that Ben’s hanging out with Madison and it might not be long until they get together. The next day, Xanthe sought Madison’s advice to get Ben to notice her again. Madison said that Xanthe doesn’t have to do anything extraordinary – she should just be herself, be patient and wait it out until Ben comes to her. Xanthe appreciated Madison’s advice, but she grew suspicious when she overheard Ben and Madison talking about a “little white lie.” Worse, Madison took Ben’s hand, then invited him to his room to “get on with this.”

Terese learned that Paul’s opening up a new restaurant at Robinson’s, and she went over to the motel to check it out. Paul gloated about the surprises he prepared for the opening, including Madison’s performance. With Gary’s help, Terese also learned the other things Paul had prepared. Terese decided to give her ex-lover-turned-archenemy a taste of his own medicine – she organised a pigeon race on the same day as the restaurant’s opening. She also shared with Sheila that she’s going to steal all his ideas.

When Paul tried to book Madison for his restaurant opening, she had to decline since she’s already confirmed with Terese’s event. Paul wasted no time confronting Terese about her schemes to sabotage his restaurant opening. He threatened her, saying she would regret the day she decided to play that game with him.
