HTC Corporation recently confirmed that the new HTC One is the first HTCpro Enterprise Certified device in the United States. The HTC One smart phones currently on sale at AT&T, Sprint as well as T-Mobile comes with this new enterprise-focused out-of-the-box software.

"The US version of the HTC One is currently the only device that comes with the HTCpro software suite but the company plans to bring its enterprise tools to future handsets and HTC One devices in other countries. Older HTC phones, however, won't be getting HTCpro certification," an unnamed HTC representative revealed.

The HTCpro offers remarkable mobile enterprise features such as level-one government-grade security, Mobile Device Management (MDM) and a range of HTC Sense-enabled productivity features. The Taiwanese company had a collaborative work with AirWatch and MobileIron for the MDM enterprise feature that allows the owners to secure, configure, manage and audit data from their HTC smart phone.

A 256-bit encryption and VPN functionality has been applied into the HTC One in order to maintain the smart phone's security. HTC looks forward as well to offer the Mocana Internet Protocol Security VPM support in the near future.

"Customers want the freedom to choose the device they use on the job and companies want to know that devices brought into the workplace are enterprise ready," stated David Jaeger, the executive director of HTCpro, HTC Corporation.

He further added: "The critically acclaimed HTC One delivers style and substance with industry-leading innovations and enterprise-ready solutions that meet today's demanding needs for everything work and life throws at you."
