New 'Insurgent' Movie Trailer Shows That The Divergents Will Fight Back
A new trailer of the upcoming movie “Insurgent” has been released. The video shows that the group of people who don’t belong to any one faction and called “divergents” will be fighting back. The main factions in the movie have been hunting them for years.
The hunt for divergents will continue in the upcoming movie “Insurgent.” The new trailer shows the character Eric, who is a member of the Dauntless faction, using a gadget to check one of the citizens.
The society in the movie has been divided into factions that are based on the primary quality of each individual. People who don’t belong to a specific faction are deemed to be a threat to the social order in society. The protagonist of the movie, Beatrice, uncovered a plot in the previous movie that revolved around the elimination of divergents.
The new trailer of “Insurgent” shows that the “divergent problem” has grown beyond control. Beatrice and her friend Four will decide to lead the other divergents to fight back against the powerful factions in society that are hunting them.
Caleb can be seen in the video telling Beatrice that she is the key to saving their civilisation. Shailene Woodley, the actress who plays the role of Beatrice in the movie, can be seen sporting short hair and taking on her enemies in the trailer. “Insurgent” is set to feature some action sequences involving the character as she begins to accept her new role in society.
Some of the previous trailers of the movie have also shown Beatrice fighting the leader of the Erudite faction. Kate Winslet plays the role of Jeanine, who is the leader of the Erudite faction. The fight scene involving Beatrice and Jeanine has been revealed to be a dream sequence.
Beatrice finds it difficult to distinguish between reality and a dream in the trailer. She can be seen asking Four whether he is real. “Insurgent” will see the two characters getting closer to each other, and the trailer of the movie shows the two characters getting intimate.
“Insurgent” is slated to be released on March 19, 2015 in Australia. Readers living in the U.S., UK and Canada will be able to watch the movie on March 20.
