SimCity finally allows offline?

After struggling with the disaster launch in the early part of 2013 and the adamant refusal to admit the possibility of offline play despite many modes that show otherwise, SimCity seems to be finally giving in and testing out the reception of an offline mode.

According to VG 24/7, a Reddit user had supposedly discovered a survey that has been distributed to gamers, asking what kind of features they would want to see in the game.

In the survey, it was hinted that a Classic Mode, defined to allow for a single functioning city with cheats and unlocks to create your utopia--regardless of a player doing offline and online play.

It also seems that London may be the next model city, or so the survey suggests. And as for the possible features that can be included in the next updates or content for SimCity, VG 24/7 provides a list.

The features include a monorail, a subway system, bridge and underpass creator tool, bus and street car lines, larger cities, importation of The Sims, crime syndicate management, co-op mode, shared online events, and guilds, to name a few.

Some of the features, such as importing The Sims, co-op mode, and larger cities may be of interest for a lot of gamers. Is there a particular feature that struck yours?
