New ‘Xiaomi Ferrari’ Smartphone Leaks Out Featuring Full HD Display, 64-Bit Processor And More Ahead Of Xiaomi Mi5 Release
Xiaomi has apparently partnered with Microsoft to test the upcoming Windows 10 on its 2014 flagship Mi4. Apart from the new OS experimentation and the impending Xiaomi Mi5 release, the Chinese tech giant is reportedly working on the next-generation smartphone named “Xiaomi Ferrari.”

The upcoming Xiaomi Ferrari has recently been spotted at the GFXBench benchmark testing site. By the looks of things, this new handset is a powerful mid-ranger. As far as the key Xiaomi Ferrari specifications go, the handset will reportedly feature a pocket-friendly 4.9-inch display packed with a good 1,080 x 1,920 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, the device will apparently be powered by a 64-bit, octa-core (Qualcomm Snapdragon 615) Cortex-A53 ARMv8 processor running at 1.6 GHz and will be backed by a solid 2 GB of RAM configuration, notes GSM Arena. Plus, the graphics is reportedly taken care by Adreno 405. And on the software end, the device will apparently run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop out of the box.
When it comes to camera specification, the smartphone will apparently sport a killer 12 MP rear-facing unit that has the capability to capture Full HD videos. In addition, the primary unit will also support HDR and LED flash. Moving on to the front, the Xiaomi Ferrari will reportedly house a gracious 4.8 MP unit for selfies. Notably, even the front facing shooter will be capable of recording Full HD videos.
Moreover, the phone is believed to come equipped with a slew of sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope, pedometer, proximity and light sensors, among others. The Xiaomi Ferrari will apparently run on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, straight out of the box with MIUI on top of it.
Xiaomi Mi5
The upcoming Xiaomi Mi5 specifications have apparently been leaked out and here is the list: The phone will reportedly house either a 5.0-inch or 5.5-inch QHD display complemented by a solid resolution of 1,560 x 1,440 pixels. On the hardware end, the device will apparently be powered by a 64-bit (Qualcomm Snapdragon 810) octa-core processor and will be backed by either a 4 GB or 3 GB of RAM unit, notes IBTimes IN.
On the software side, the Xiaomi Mi5 will reportedly run on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Xiaomi MIUI on top of it. Speaking of camera specification, there will reportedly be an impressive 20.7 MP Sony sensor on the rear and an unspecified shooter on the front with wide-angle photo capture support. In any case, readers should note that, the tech giant has not confirmed the Xiaomi Mi5 or Xiaomi Ferrari specifications thus far.
