While some regions such as Melbourne, Darwin, Hobart and Sydney might observe a shower of rain, other areas including Canberra and Brisbane will likely witness a hot day. Furthermore, there are chances of thunderstorm in Darwin as well as Sydney.

Melbourne (24C)

While Melbourne is roaring in hot temperature as of now, it is likely to drop in a few days. From 32C on Dec. 29, the temperature will fall to 24C on New Year’s Eve and it will be a cloudy day. The temperature will further fall and will be around 20C on Monday, Jan.2.

Hobart (25C)

There will not be a great change in temperature on New Year’s Eve. From 24C prediction for Dec.29, the temperature will rise only one degree on NYE, and will be around 25C. There is possibility of rain. The weather will be partly cloudy.

Canberra (34C)

It is going to be hot sunny day in Canberra. The weather will be mostly sunny with a prediction of 34C temperature for the day. However, the temperature will fall gradually and will be around 26C on Jan.2.

Darwin (31C)

New Year’s Eve weather forecast for Darwin suggests that it will be a cloudy day with temperature around 31C. There are 80 percent chances of rain. Furthermore, a thunderstorm might also occur. The temperature is likely to remain same for the next few days as well.

Perth (25C)

Perth weather forecast for New Year’s Eve is 25C. The day will be sunny throughout. However, the temperature might soar to 38C on Jan.2 when it is going to be very hot and sunny.

Sydney (30C)

A temperature of 30C has been predicted for Sydney (31C in the city and 36C in the west). There are chances of rain, most likely in the afternoon or evening. Also, there is a slight chance of thunderstorm. There will be relief from hot weather soon as the temperature is likely to fall to 24C on Jan.2.

Brisbane (34C)

Weather forecast for Brisbane is predicted to rise further in the coming days. The temperature will be around 34C on New Year’s Eve. It is going to be a hot sunny day.

Adelaide (26C)

The temperature is likely to fall in Adelaide in the coming days and will be around 26C on New Year’s Eve. It is going to be a cloudy day with chances of rain in the morning.
