Next Generation Xbox 720: Features, Specs, Games Titles, Secret Unveiled
Microsoft's next generation Xbox 720 is going to hit the market soon and everyone is eyeing to the E3 event on June 11, 2013. Before the official announcement of Microsoft, some secrets of Xbox 720 were exposed with promising features and games awaiting fans all over the world.
Technical Specifications
Most reports suggest that Xbox 720 features 1.6GHz dual-core AMD processors, Blu-Ray disk drive, custom 800MHz graphics processor, and 8GB of GDDR3 RAM. But AMD revealed that Radeon HD 7790 graphics unit is likely to be used as the base GPU of the console.
Another possible feature would be the compatibility of Xbox 720 to play Xbox 360 disks using an x86 chip built inside the new gaming console. Durango Development Kit leaked further DRM as major factor for the next generation of Xbox.
"Disc media will be used for distribution, but during game play games will not use content from the optical disc. An installation system is being designed that will allow gamers to begin playing while the game is being installed on the hard drive rather than waiting until the installation is complete," documentation unveiled and noted by Expert Reviews.
Console Features
A set-top box variant is one of the rumoured first release versions of Xbox 720 and primarily runs casual games, movie and music services. Xbox 720 will likely to have two variants and costs differently.
Permanent internet connection is not concrete on whether Microsoft agrees to keep the players active online when playing games or simply during downloading of stuffs for games. Some suggests that it would be registering requirement for each game you play for the first time and others believed that being online is required to get additional features of the game.
If ever any of this case happens, anti-piracy would be the main reason why keeping the gaming console online most of the time.
Add-ons and Accessories
New pads would likely be similar to the previous generation according to some reports and Kotaku suggests keeping the button, trigger and analogue control stick layout for the next generation Xbox. For interactive ways during the game, the console is rumoured to have Xbox Dashboard similar to PS4 Dual Shock 4.
SmartGlass is also an alternative controlling methods for Xbox 720 which allows player to use a smartphone or tablet instead of the usual controller. Kinect 2.0 may also be featured on the Xbox 720 to detect individual fingers or eye movement, unfortunately, Microsoft may ditch it due to cost concerns.
IlumiRoom projector to create a variety of images beamed into your room based on the game being played. It was already demonstrated on how it works but not exactly a standard pack with Xbox 720. Speech Recognition may also take part on Xbox 720, according to Verge, it features wake on voice, natural language controls and speech-to-text capabilities.

1. Halo 5 - Expected to be launched on 2014 Christmas season.
2. Forza Motorsport 5 - No confirmation of any plans next year.
3. Gears of War 4 - Poor sales may discourage the upcoming instalment.
4. Ryse - First person action game intended for Xbox 360.
5. Alan Wake 2 - A sequel has been announcement but no confirmation for being exclusive to Xbox 720.
6. Call of Duty: Ghosts - Activision confirmed the revelation of the game really soon.
7. Destiny - Another upcoming Xbox 720 from Activision.
8. Battlefield 4 - A possible highlight on the launching event from EA.
9. Project Titan - New game from Respawn Entertainment and creators of Call of Duty.
10. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - Ubisoft confirmed versions for both Xbox 720 and Playstation 4.
11. Watch Dogs - Microsoft is expected to reveal this game at E3 event.
12. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain - Konami may release another multi-format sequel of Metal Gear Solid.
Other games may become a part of the Xbox 720 such as Beyond Good & Evil 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Dragon Age 3: Inquisition, FIFA 14, Rainbox Six: Patriots and Final Fantasy XV.
