Nicki Minaj On The Ellen DeGeneres Show: TV Host Scares 'Anaconda' Singer, Talks About 'The Pinkprint' Album And Having A Family [VIDEO]

"Anaconda" singer Nicki Minaj expected a simple and normal interview on her life and music career when she made a guest appearance recently on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." However, the 56-year-old TV host, who is famous for pulling pranks on her celebrity guests, succeeded in scaring the 32-year-old rapper-songwriter during the interview.

According to a Mail Online report, Nicki Minaj made her guest appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Monday, Dec. 15, where she received the "surprise" of her life. The prop coffee table next to the "Starships" singer suddenly opened as Ellen's male staff member wearing a frizzy wig and girl clothing scared the celebrity guest.

"Oh my God! I hate you so much! I could've broken my neck, who is that man?" Nicki Minaj told Ellen DeGeneres, who laughed at the singer's reaction with the audience. "The Other Woman" star wore a figure-hugging black dress with black ankle boots during her guest appearance on the talk-variety show.

When Ellen DeGeneres asked about her writing process for the songs on her new album, Nicki Minaj revealed that she feels really happy at the moment after having such an emotional year. The singer explained that she felt the need to grow as a human being while writing her album.

Aside from her music album, Nicki Minaj also talked about her plans of having a family soon. "I want a cute little fat baby!" the singer exclaimed. The TV host pointed out that Nicki Minaj's future child may not be fat but the singer admitted that she does not want it.

"But I will have a family, even if I don't have $500 million," Minaj stated. The amount of money is the one that she mentioned as a joke earnings goal in her past interview. On the Monday episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Nicki Minaj also treated the TV host and the viewers with a performance of her new song titled "Bed of Lies" featuring Skylar Grey.
