According to Marc Cherry, there was undeniable tension between Nicollette Sheridan and other cast members especially Terry Hatcher.

On one of his testimonies, he stated that there was an incident when he had to break the two apart after Sheridan called Hatcher "the meanest woman in the world."

The deliberation for the lawsuit filed by Sheridan against Cherry will begin this week. Twelve jurors will be giving their verdicts whether the actress was wrongfully fired or not.

Nicollette filed the case against Marc Cherry, creator of the series "Desperate Housewives," for premature termination and battery.

Sheridan claims that Cherry hit her head after she complained about her premature dismissal from the show. Marc denies all allegations saying that Sheridan's character. "Edie Britt," was due to be cut off from the show a long time ago.

Not only that, Cherry also revealed that casts like Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman were both "relieved" that Sheridan's character was being eliminated.

He complained that Nicollette was not the most professional regarding work ethics saying that she was tardy and was rude to props crew. However, if she wins the case, Sheridan will receive $6 million for damages.

"The primary reason I killed off the character was because I thought it was the best thing for my show," Cherry said.
