No Interest For QB Sam Bradford Around The NFL—Report
Sam Bradford, the quarterback for the St. Louis Rams, is exploring his market value and appears that no team is interested in acquiring him and his big salary according to a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. Two teams were mentioned as possible destinations for Bradford, the Buffalo Bills and the Cleveland Browns but no formal offers have been discussed.
According to Rapoport, teams are wary of paying Bradford $13 million he’s due for the 2015 season of the National Football League, or NFL. The NFL writer claimed that zero teams have contacted the Rams about a possible trade although it’s still early in the NFL offseason. Rapoport also said that demand for Bradford is low because of the salary but he remains a viable option at QB for any NFL team.
Bradford suffered a season-ending knee injury in August of 2014 and also has a long list of injury history in his NFL career. In the 2010-2011 season, he missed six of 16 regular season games and in the 2013-2014 season he missed nine of 16 regular season games. The Rams are trying to get Bradford back but wants a restructured deal for the quarterback.
Bradford when healthy has a potential to be a good NFL QB. In his rookie year, Bradford had 3,512 passing yards on 354 of 590 completions 18 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. In 2012, Bradford had 3,702 passing yards on 328 of 551 with 21 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
A report on Tuesday from Rand Getlin of Yahoo Sports stated that the Bills are pursuing a trade with the Bills. According to Getlin’s league sources, Buffalo doesn’t see quarterback EJ Manuel as a starter and believes that Bradford can help the team to be a contender in the upcoming 2015 NFL Season.
