“The Place Beyond the Pines” actress revealed her secret to keeping Hollywood heartthrob and her partner Ryan Gosling happy. On a jovial note speaking to Extra Eva Mendes told “you can’t do sweatpants” as they are the number one reason for divorce in America, according to E Online. The 41-year-old actress who gave birth to the couple’s first child, Esmeralda Amanda Gosling looked ravishing.

Eva made an appearance on Extra on Mar.18 to promote her new make-up line Circa that is available at Walgreens. The actress who gave birth to her daughter in September 2014 is back in shape and flaunted her post baby body in a silver-grey sleeveless dress. She accentuated her slim waistline by accessorizing her dress with a chunky white belt. Her long brunette tresses were tied back into a ponytail, while she wore some eyeliner and pink gloss. Eva wore matching silver earrings. She said that she doesn’t like to wear pants much and always prefers a dress or a skirt to keep it feminine.

The actress and her partner are known to be fiercely private persons when it comes to their personal lives. She recently took to Instagram to connect with her fans, but has not yet posted any pictures of her baby girl. This is the first time since the birth of Esmeralda that Eva has spoken about her publicly.

She said now that she has become a mother, she has realised how her mother must have had sleepless nights with her as a baby. The actress is now all praise for her mom and randomly sends her text messages saying how much she loves her. She added that till now she hasn’t had any problems with her daughter as she sleeps well. But she added that you may never know when things will change and she would have to wake up in the middle of the night.

Eva was seen alongside Ryan at 2015 SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas for her partner’s directorial debut “Lost River” on Mar.14. Mendes donned a striped, long-sleeved top and floral skirt, by Michael Kors. The ensemble was cinched at the waist with a wide belt, which highlighted her post-baby waistline. This time her brunette tresses were tied into a high bun and adorned with her favourite accessory, a headscarf. She has lately been busy shooting for a commercial for her New York and Company fashion line. Besides, she also launched her new beauty line Circa.
