US carrier AT&T currently offers three Windows Phone 8 smart phones, the Nokia Lumia 920, 820 and HTC 8X, but the company is reportedly getting ready to include another Windows Phone handset: the Nokia Lumia 520. It is expected that the Nokia Lumia 520 will be offered for free to subscribers agreeable to signing a contract.

However, there is no announcement yet on the precise release date and pricing of the Nokia Lumia 520 at AT&T. Other reports claim that the upcoming 41MP Nokia Lumia EOS will be launched as well on the carrier after its scheduled unveiling event on July 11 in New York City.

Consumers in search of the entry-level Windows Phone 8 handset will have to patiently wait for the US carrier to officially confirm the availability of the Finnish smart phone. Nokia Lumia 520 features a 4-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen display with 800x480p resolution, 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8227 CPU, 512MB of RAM and 5MP rear-facing camera.

Additional features and specs include the 8GB internal storage capacity that can be expanded through a microSD card slot, HSDPA, Wi-Fi connectivity and the power of a 1430mAh battery that can last up to 9 hours and 40 minutes of talk-time on 3G. Consumers can choose from the available color choices such as black, white, red, yellow and cyan.

The Finnish smart phone manufacturer officially launched the Nokia Lumia 520 smart phone at the 2013 Mobile World Congress (MWC) held in Barcelona, Spain and it became one of the most well-liked Windows Phone 8 devices. The Nokia Lumia 520 has a variant launched last April, the T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 521, where it received positive feedbacks as well from the smart phone consumers.

T-Mobile offers the Nokia Lumia 521 with a price of $149.99. The upcoming Nokia Lumia 520 at AT&T is anticipated to carry a comparable price tag.
