Nokia Lumia 525 "Glee" smartphone, a successor to the Nokia Lumia 520 Windows Phone handset, has appeared in a leaked Facebook image.

Notable mobile device source @evleaks shared the image of the Finnish smartphone showing the company's trademark design.

Nokia Lumia 525 Windows Phone handset seems thinner compared to the Nokia Lumia 520 but with the sharper curved edges. The image is available in various colors for the "Glee" smartphone such as red, yellow and white.

As for the features and specs, the new Nokia device is rumored to have a 4-inch WVGA IPS LCD screen display with 800 x 480p resolution, a 1GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, the power of a 1430mAh battery, 5MP autofocus rear-facing camera and 8GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded up to 64GB through the microSD card slot.

Other expected Nokia Lumia 525 features and specs include the Windows Phone 8 OS, connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, AGPS, GPS, 3G and Micro-USB, the dimensions of 119.9 x 64 x 9.9 millimeters, weight at approximately 124 grams and the inclusion of the Nokia Guru, also known as the BH-121 Bluetooth stereo headset.

@evleaks posted as well on social networking site Twitter that the Nokia Lumia 525 will be arriving before 2013 ends. The tweet posted Tuesday, Nov. 5, reads: "Nokia Lumia 525, 2013 http://on.fb.me/HxTCLy." The rumored arrival of the new "Glee" smartphone will be just in time for the fast approaching holiday season where device enthusiasts think about the great Christmas present to purchase.

Nokia Lumia 525 reportedly made an appearance at the Chinese mobile certification agency TENAA which can be considered equivalent to the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) in the United States. According to the TENAA certification details on the Nokia Lumia 525, the device is "aimed for music consumers and might come equipped with unique headphones as a link with the Nokia Music service."

It has been previously reported that the Nokia Lumia 525 Windows Phone handset will become available at Verizon in November along with another Nokia device, the Nokia Lumia 929, to replace the existing Nokia Lumia 928. However, no statement has been given yet regarding the availability of the Nokia handset.
