It has been previously reported that Verizon will be offering the new Nokia Lumia 929 smartphone on November 6 but the latest round of reports circulating on the Internet point to a release date that has been pushed back to Thanksgiving Day, November 28.

In the early part of October, the device enthusiasts were teased about the arrival of the new Nokia device on November 6 with $500 price, black and white colour options and without the two-year contract. More images and even a video have been posted at WPCentral from forum member "Falorin" to reveal details on the upcoming Verizon Nokia Lumia 929 Windows Phone handset including the release date.

The Nokia Lumia 929 Windows Phone is expected as the device to replace the Nokia Lumia 928 smartphone in the lineup of U.S. carrier Verizon Wireless. Notable mobile device source @evleaks has shared as well in the past via social networking site Twitter a press image of the Nokia Lumia 929 with the Verizon branding on the Finnish device and the compatibility with the 4G LTE data network.

For the device features and specs, the Nokia Lumia 929 is considered as the compact version of the recently unveiled Nokia Lumia 1520 with the 5-inch screen Full HD 1080p resolution display, the power of a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and the 20MP camera with the impressive PureView technology.

Additionally, the Nokia Lumia 929 is expected to have the available internal storage capacities of 32GB and 64GB that the consumers can choose from. However, the new device does not have a microSD card slot for memory storage expansion.

Another interesting feature in the Nokia Lumia 929 is the use of a nano-SIM indicating that the Finnish company does not mind with the use of a rival's SIM format. Aside from these latest reports about the Nokia Lumia 929, there are no other details confirmed including the pricing scheme for the new Nokia device.
