A wireless charging shell accessory for the Nokia Lumia 735 Windows Phone handset is now officially available. The Nokia Lumia 735 Wireless Charging Shell (CP-3086) will allow the smartphone owners to add the wireless charging feature to the device as well as change the colour of the device's rear side.

According to a Noknok.tv report, the Nokia Lumia 735 owners need to purchase a charging plate in order to make the most of the wireless charging feature on the smartphone. Adding the Nokia Lumia 735 Wireless Charging Shell will allow the owners to place their Windows Phone handsets on a Qi-compatible charger similar to the Nokia Wireless Charging Plate.

The wireless charging shell is made from high-quality polycarbonate that can protect the Nokia Lumia 735 from bumps and scratches. The smartphone accessory also has sharp colour options and it does not add bulk to the device when placed on the existing rear cover of the Nokia Lumia 735. Click HERE to see photos.

The official Nokia Lumia 735 Wireless Charging Shell (CP-3086) accessory price is set at £14.99 (US$24.10) including VAT. The available colour choices for the smartphone accessory are bright green, bright orange, white and dark grey.

The Nokia Lumia 735 smartphone, which was announced and released last September, has a 4.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touch screen display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, ClearBlack display, a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1 GB of RAM, Adreno 305 GPU and Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 operating system.

The other smartphone features and specs include a 6.7 megapixel rear-facing camera with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus and an LED flash, a 5 megapixel front-facing camera with 1080 pixel resolution, an internal storage capacity of 8 GB that can be expanded up to 128 GB through the available microSD card slot, 15 GB free OneDrive storage, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0

The Windows Phone handset also has a 2200 mAh Li-Ion battery with stand-by time up to 600 h, talk time up to 22 h on 2G while 3G can only have talk time up to 17 h and music play is up to 60 h. Lastly, consumers can choose from the available colour options of the Nokia Lumia 735 which are orange, green, white and black.
