Nokia issued the new 1314 update and it is currently rolling out to the AT&T Nokia Lumia 920 handsets. The latest update offer comes as a fix to the smart phone users who complained about experiencing data connectivity issues after upgrading with the 1308 update.

The AT&T Nokia Lumia 920 1314 update fixes include:

1. Improvements on the data connectivity issues in certain network conditions.

2. Enhanced automatic screen display brightness adjustment.

3. A fix for intermittent blanking of the screen during a phone call.

4. Improvements in performance and stability.

The 1314 firmware is designed to deal with the issues that emerged from the 1308 update. Nokia became aware of the problem when AT&T users began to question through the Windows Phone OEM forums as to why they could not acquire the 3G or LTE support after installing the 1308 firmware.

Still, the 1308 update was able to deliver remarkable changes to the Nokia Lumia 920 smart phone before the data connectivity issues surfaced. It includes new time choices for customizing the Nokia Lumia 920 to lock itself and the "Storage Check" feature that provides the users with the full breakdown of how much app space is used on the smart phone.

The Nokia Lumia 920 users can check for the 1314 update manually at the smart phone's Settings > System Screen > Phone Update > Check. In the future, the Windows Phone operating system will most likely prompt the Nokia Lumia 920 users automatically if download and installation of the latest firmware has not been performed.

The Finnish company provided a fast customer service support with the 1314 update for the AT&T Nokia Lumia 920 users. Nokia composes the greater part of the All Windows Phone devices in circulation in the April 2013 Windows Phone Statistics Report so the company's immediate response on the issue will reflect positively as well on the improved smart phone experience.
