Nokia will reportedly launch a limited edition of the "Superman" Nokia Lumia 925 version in line with the film "Man of Steel" release in cinemas on June 14. The latest Windows Phone handset with the superhero theme is scheduled to arrive at the China market on June 15.

The Finnish company has already released in 2012 the Nokia Lumia 900 with the "Batman" theme. This time, the device consumers can get their hands on the Nokia Lumia 925 with the Superman logo at the smart phone's back.

A separate wireless charging accessory that has the Superman logo can be purchased as well. This is clearly a marketing tactic for the upcoming "Superman: Man of Steel" movie.

Nokia Lumia 925 with the Superman theme will still have the 4.5-inch HD AMOLED screen display with 1280x768p resolution, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 8.7MP front-facing PureView camera with the Carl Zeiss lens, dual-LED flash, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and the power of a 2000mAh battery.

Additionally, the "Superman" smart phone will most likely feature the exclusively developed Man of Steel Windows Phone 8 app for the Nokia Lumia range. The application offers diverse challenges that unlock limited multimedia contents like wallpapers, ringtones and DC Comics digital comic books.

According to the WPDang report, the Superman Nokia Lumia 925 will have the lower price of CNY 3,999 ($652) compared to the Nokia Lumia 920 with the CNY 4,599 ($750) price. Other reports claim that Nokia plans to ship without delay the initial batch of the Superman Nokia Lumia 925 units for the scheduled June 15 release date.

However, Nokia has not given any official announcement yet regarding the arrival of the Nokia Lumia 925 smart phone in a limited Superman edition. There is no confirmation as well if the offer will be available in other smart phone markets outside of China.
