The Nokia Lumia 928 watch has produced a couple of speculated release dates, one for Nokia and another from Verizon.

April 24 is the earlier date to be marked, as iTechPost reports that Nokia is readying itself for a launch on the date. The "something new" that will be launched has not yet been specified, so it's natural that excitement has heightened for the possibility that it's finally the Nokia Lumia 928 debut.

"You won't have to wait long to find out. On Wednesday morning at 7a.m. GMT, we will be announcing something new, followed by a Q&A session with Neil Broadley from our Mobile Phones team and a special guest," said the statement notes on Nokia's Conversations blog as quoted by iTechPost.

However, there was an accompanying photo of a yellow smartphone that shows a QWERTY keyboard, potentially dashing the hopes of those waiting for the Nokia Lumia 928.

What it may point out to the "something new" smartphone may actually be the budget Asha phone, but that's not to say that the announcement will be limited to this yellow device.

Verizon event on May 22 to announce the Lumia 928?

For those still keeping high hopes, Verizon may be the bringer of better news, as the company announced a press event to be held on May 22.

There are still no specifics with regard to what the event will be focused on, but considering the height of attention that the Nokia Lumia 928, it may either be a potential reveal of the device or a confirmation, reports Geeky-Gadgets.

This may not be far off, given the latest round of leaks on the phone's "final look." From @evleaks yet again, the final look for the supposed prototype shows off a white and a black version of the device.

According to Mobile Mag, the device may have a PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics, a Xenon and LED flash, as well as compatibility with 4G LTE. As for other specs, the 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, and a lighter body make are still there.

Whether or not the agenda for these events pertain to the Lumia 928 is still up for debate and speculation, but at least there's just one day to go before the first announcement.
