Nokia Lumia 928 will reportedly have an exclusive release on Verizon soon after leaked images of the smart phone and accessories surfaced online. Reports are currently pointing out to the Nokia Lumia 928 unveiling date on April 25 then its early release at Verizon on May 2013.

Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has stated that a "hero" smart phone will be launched this quarter on a major US carrier. This statement supports the rumored schedule on the Nokia Lumia 928 announcement as well as its availability to the consumers.

Another reason making the release date reports precise is the forthcoming end of the Nokia Lumia 920 next month exclusively offered at AT&T. Verizon releases are often well-known to occur on a Thursday so the predicted release dates are May 2 and May 9.

The Nokia Lumia 928 smart phone has a slimmer and lighter design compared to the Nokia Lumia 920 and it will have the compatibility on the Verizon 4G LTE network. The Twitter account @evleaks has leaked images of the Nokia Lumia 928 in both black and white as the available color choices.

Based on the leaked images, Nokia Lumia 928 features the remarkable PureView camera with the Carl Zeiss optics and xenon flash. The speaker on the Nokia Lumia's back side has been improved as well.

The Verizon branding is on the smart phone's front side and the confirmation on the 4G support is printed on the back. Twitter user @evleaks is known for having a firm documentation and releasing images of devices that have not yet been officially announced.

However, both Nokia and Verizon have not given any comment to confirm or deny the reported Nokia Lumia 928 launch and its early release date.
