Speculations started to emerge that Nokia is set to officially unveil the Nokia Lumia EOS 41MP camera phone after the invitation was sent out for an upcoming event. The Nokia event is scheduled to take place on July 11 in New York City with the intriguing tagline that says "Zoom Reinvented."

Nokia did not divulge what exactly will happen at the event but the invitation photo shows a magnifying glass with the message "See More From Nokia" written inside as well as the schedule details of the exciting event. Nokia's announcement on their upcoming event came after rival company Samsung officially proclaimed their latest variant, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom.

Nokia has already launched a 41MP Symbian-based 808 camera phone in 2012 but the Finnish company assures that the Nokia Lumia EOS performance will now be much better after the improvements done on the PureView technology.

Other Nokia smart phones have been incorporated with the PureView technology and the most recent addition is the Nokia Lumia 925. The impressive Nokia PureView feature allows the smart phone users to have an innovative experience on capturing images.

The previously leaked images of the Nokia Lumia EOS gave the device enthusiasts a foretaste of what to imagine when Nokia officially unveils the remarkable smart phone. The leaked images show the Nokia Lumia EOS having a striking resemblance to the Nokia Lumia 920 polycarbonate body with a huge rear camera hole for the 41MP shooter.

The Windows Phone 8 Nokia Lumia EOS additional features and specs include the 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ screen display, Carl Zeiss optics, a dual-core processor, 32GB internal storage capacity, LTE support, a tiny rectangular puncture located at the left side for the Xenon Flash feature and two connectors on the smart phone's back panel for wireless charging.
