‘The OA’ season 2 to solve mysteries from the first season

“The OA” season 1 has left fans with so many questions. These issues, such as who the school shooter is and if French (Brandon Perea) and Homer (Emory Cohen) are only one person, are expected to be answered next season.

Brit Marling (Prairie), star and co-creator of the Netflix series has assured fans that the show’s second season is already in the works. She has also admitted that they intend the audience to learn something as the show goes on.

“There were things we thought it would take the audience to find,” she said. Although Marling did not reveal much about how the second season would look like, it seems she is hinting that questions that “The OA” season 1 has left fans with set up the idea of how the second season will look like.

“The OA” season 1 left viewers wondering who the school shooter might be. Speculations are split on whether it was Prairie’s father or Homer who did the shooting.

The shooting has caused Prairie to be struck by a bullet from the gunman. The controversial event has led many to speculate who the gunman could be.

The Reddit boards are on fire with questions regarding the identity of the school shooter. Some think it is Prairie’s dad who was behind the shooting. They base it on the fact that the shooter’s hair is blonde, just like Prairie’s father.

“It’s very quick frames, but we see the back of the head of the shooter. Blonde hair and we also see a one-frame shot of his eye before the bullet goes off that hits OA,” a Reddit user claimed.

But fans also noticed that the shooter’s eyes are green. This has led some fans to believe that the shooter is not Prairie’s father but Homer (Emory Cohen).

When Prairie claimed that she has regained her eyesight, she looked at Homer. While staring at him, she noticed the colour of his eyes. “Your eyes are the richest green,” Prairie, also known as the OA, said.

Other than his hair and eyes, the only thing viewers would remember about the school shooter is that he was wearing jeans. When the group do the Five Movements, it appeared that the gunman was distracted which gave the cafeteria worker a chance to stop him. But the trigger was pulled and we’ve seen Prairie from the window having strayed by a bullet.

Another mystery that is expected to be resolved next season is the identity of French and Homer and the connection of the two characters. According to Express, it is likely that the characters are versions of a person from different dimensions.

“The OA” season 1 has aired in Australia on Netflix. Season 2’s release date is expected to be announced in the near future.
