'Once Upon A Time' Cast Members Spotted Filming Scenes For Season 4 In Canada, New Characters Ursula And Cruella de Vil To Join Soon
Cast members of the fantasy series "Once Upon A Time" were spotted and photographed in Steveston, Canada on Thursday morning, Nov. 20, as they film the scenes for the fantasy series' fourth season. Soon, new characters Ursula and Cruella de Vil will be joining OUAT stars in filming the upcoming episodes of the hit ABC drama series.
According to a Mail Online report, actress Ginnifer Goodwin, who portrays OUAT character Mary Margaret/Snow White, works on her scenes with co-star Jennifer Morrison, who portrays her on-screen daughter, Emma Swan. A captured image shows Ginnifer Goodwin being driven around the "Once Upon A Time" set on a buggy.
Co-star Jennifer Morrison joined Ginnifer Goodwin on the set. Other OUAT cast members spotted were Lana Parrilla, who portrays Regina/The Evil Queen, and Colin O'Donoghue, who portrays Captain Hook in the fairy tale series. Click HERE to see photos.
"Once Upon A Time" Season 4 started airing back in September on ABC with the storyline focusing on the "Frozen" characters. Soon, new characters will be joining the OUAT cast members in filming the scenes for the upcoming new episodes of the season.
An Entertainment Weekly report exclusively confirmed that actresses Victoria Smurfit and Merrin Dungey has been cast as villainous characters Cruella de Vil from "101 Dalmatians" and Ursula from "The Little Mermaid," respectively.
Dungey, 43, is known for portraying "Alias" character Francie Calfo. Her other work credits include "The King of Queens," "Castle," "Betrayal" and "Shameless." As for Smurfit, the 40-year-old Irish actress's work credits include "Dracula," "Trial & Retribution" and "Bulletproof Monk." The two new "Once Upon A Time" characters will be teaming up with actress Kristin Bauer van Straten, who will reprise her role as Maleficent in the latter half of the fourth season.
Meanwhile, Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas, who portrays Prince Charming, is nominated for "Favorite TV Duo" in the 2015 People's Choice Awards which is scheduled to air on Jan. 7, 2015 on CBS. The OUAT stars will be competing against the pairings of other TV series such as David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel from "Bones," Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles from "Supernatural," Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic from "Castle" and Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder from "The Vampire Diaries."
"Once Upon A Time" Season 4 currently airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
