'Once Upon A Time' Season 5 Spoilers: Cast Members Colin O'Donoghue And Lana Parrilla Talk About The Dark Emma In New Season
“Once Upon A Time” Season 5 will introduce Storybrooke’s Savior Emma Swan, played by Jennifer Morrison, as the new Dark One. In an interview, OUAT cast members Colin O’Donoghue and Lana Parrilla talk about how their characters will respond to the “Dark Emma.”
Hook and Regina are among the people who will be concerned with Emma’s transformation since she has been a hero and the Savior of Storybrooke. Hook’s storyline in the upcoming “Once Upon A Time” Season 5 will be about saving the woman he loves.
Colin O’Donoghue, who portrays OUAT character Captain Hook, teased in an interview with Zap2it at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con that things are going to be complicated for his character in “Once Upon A Time” Season 5. “Hook spent hundreds of years trying to kill the Dark One and now his girlfriend is the Dark One,” O’Donoghue explained.
O’Donoghue further teased that Hook’s love for Emma will make him do anything to protect his girlfriend and bring her back to the good side. During the interview, O’Donoghue also shared his thoughts on the idea that Captain Hook will go dark again in the new season of the ABC TV series.
“Whether or not he decides to go dark again to try to get that back — I don’t know. We haven’t explored that yet, but it’ll be interesting to see,” O’Donoghue stated. Meanwhile, Lana Parrilla, who portrays Regina/The Evil Queen in the fairy tale drama series, teased what her character would do in “Once Upon A Time” Season 5 with the Dark Emma around in an interview with E!News.
Parrilla shared that the-villain-turned-good Regina must be “extremely strategic” when it comes to approaching Emma as the new Dark One because the Dark One is the most powerful character. It would be interesting to see the Emma-Regina relationship in “Once Upon A Time” Season 5 because the roles have switched.
Emma has been helping Regina become one of the good guys in Storybrooke in the past OUAT seasons. Now that Emma is the Dark One, it is Regina’s turn to help and save Emma.
Parrilla further teased that the fans will see if Regina will deny or be comfortable and accept the role of being the hero or the new Savior in the show’s upcoming new season. “Once Upon A Time” Season 5 will premiere on Sunday night, Sept. 27, at 8/7c on ABC.
