One Direction & Dating: Who Would The Boys Date Within Their Circle?
Although none are exactly homophobic, most boys would rather keep it to themselves on who would they date within their specific cliques.
On the other hand, the members of One Direction are extremely comfortable with their sexualities and in a recent interview with Elle Girl Japan, they say who they would date within their party of five.
"Harry: If I was a girl I would date.. 'Probably Liam. Cause I think he's..' Louis: 'He's a solid choice.' Louis: 'I think I.. Hmmm. Come back to me.' Niall: 'I'd date Louis.' Louis: 'I think I might date Niall.. I was gonna say you, Niall.'" quotes Ocean Up from the Elle Girl Japan issue that featured the British-Irish boy band.
One Direction is considered by many as the resurgence of boy bands in the music industry. They are composed of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson. Each one of the auditioned as solo candidates for "The X Factor" wherein they all made it past the bootcamp stage.
They failed to progress past the "Boys" category at the judge's houses, but with Nicole Scherzinger's suggestion, they formed a five-piece boy band for the "Groups" category. After thorough hardwork, they became the last group standing in the competition, third place behind first placer and second placer, Matt Cardle and Rebecca Ferguson, respectively. Since then the group has received a growing fan base who call themselves "Directioners".
"Niall: 'I'd like to go to a theme park with you on our first date.' Louis: 'I reckon we'd have a good laugh. Liam: 'I think I'd date Louis as well. If I was a girl, that is, I'd date Louis.' Louis: 'I'm gonna be a busy boy.' Zayn: 'Well I'd date none of you, 'cause none of you picked me.'" continued Ocean Up.
The boys of One Direction have also been seen as the new "British Invasion" in the US. In an article by "The Telegraph", the boys could easily be seen as the pioneers of clean pop, something that only the rise of Justin Bieber could have done.
The future obviously looks bright for these five young boys, and their talents are nowhere near nearing its decline.
