One Direction Gaining Fans and Parents Approval from Justin Bieber's Bad Behaviour
If there is any other band getting all the attention thanks to Justin Bieber's crazy and rude antics as of late, it'd be One Direction. Justin Bieber's latest run in with the paparazzi to neighbourly neighs hasn't earned him the nod of approval from his "Beliebers" parents. A few young "Beliebers" are also taking the switch to becoming a "Directioner."
Since the start of 2013, things haven't particularly looked up for Bieber. Apart from countless fights with the paparazzi, Justin has also had his fair share of problems with the press and the police. Judging from the amount of boos Justin got at the recently held Billboard Music Awards, Bieber is also losing fans as well.
Young "Beliebers" are taking the switch to becoming "Directioners." According to Radar Online, parents believe that the boys of 1D are way better role models than Justin Bieber. One Direction had recently taken part in an anti-bullying campaign that says much of their character. On the other hand, Justin Bieber has been busy with NBA appearances, clubbing and partying, and hanging out with Miley Cyrus in his studio - albeit secretly.
"One Direction is benefitting greatly from Justin's a**hole behaviour," states Radar Online.
"All of the little girls that loved Bieber don't love him anymore because 'he's bad' and they are moving on to One Direction. (Editor's note: Noah Cyrus is a perfect example!) The parents of these young fans are resentful of Justin's behavior and don't think he's a wholesome influence on their children anymore," continued the report.
If Justin Bieber doesn't start cleaning up his act, it may be bad for his career.
"So they're pushing for their kids to like One Direction instead. A lot of the girls that loved Bieber are now crushing on Harry Styles. And it's not lost on the boys of One Direction. Both them and their team is fully aware that they are gaining fans who used to love Bieber, and they know it's the perfect time to capitalize on it and swoop in to replace him," added Radar Online.
Ironically, Justin Bieber is "good friends" with the boys of One Direction. Could Bieber be pulling off these acts on purpose to benefit the boys of 1D?
