That crazy little thing called love do not exempt pop stars, and that includes the millennial boy band, One Direction.
Being in a high profile boy band, they boys of One Direction will always be busy with recording, tours and attending all sorts of events and gatherings. So how will they be able to experience a much coveted love life if they never have the time to go out on dates with different women their age? One word: Twitter.
In an interview with a UK magazine called Heat, Greg Horan, Niall's brother, mentoned that the boys may use a girl's Twitter feed to figues out and determine if a girl is quality dating material. He says that Niall will follow a particular girl he likes on Twitter, wait for a while and see if she's a genuine girl or fakes all her tweets.
One Direction is made up of five members namely Liam Payne, Harry Styles, ZaynMalik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan. The boy band was the second runner-up in the UK contest The X Factor, wherein even though they didn't make it in the individual, category, they won the hearts of the crowd and the judges as a group when Nicole Scherzinger suggested that they team up and enter the group category.
So why do the boys use Twitter instead of date women, like what normal boys do? Well, for one, it saves time, says Greg.
"[Niall] has a lot of female friends that he goes out with, but he's not going to start seeing them seriously because he doesn't have the time." Quotes Hollywood Life from Greg's Heat interview regarding his brother's dating techniques.
He also adds a very prompt advice that girls should watch what they're putting out there on Twitter for everyone to see, since he wants his future girlfriend to be as genuine as possible.
