One Direction's Harry Styles Plans to Be in Band for 10 Years: 'I’ll be Doing it Until I was Old'
"Directioners" will be happy to hear that Harry Styles of One Direction plans to stay in the band for 10 years. In fact, the curly-haired cutie admitted he'd most likely grow old in the business and still be on tours despite being an old man. What else did the British singer have to say?
During Harry's visit "down under," the singer got quizzed on the show "Australia's 60 Minutes." In the interview, Harry was asked where he'd most likely see himself in 10 years.
"I would hope that I'd still be touring with One Direction. I love this job so much, if you need to call it a job, and I'll be doing it until I was old and people were telling me to stop," answered Styles.
Judging from Harry's current age, in around 10 years, Styles would be 29 years old and still touring. This, of course, isn't much of a problem. Hey, look at Carly Rae Jepsen, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and a few other stars in the biz. Age is most definitely not a problem with performers. Heck, hello Elton John! If Michael Jackson was still alive today, the King of Pop would have been performing with One Direction in Australia.
Aside from talking about future plans, Harry Styles cleared up rumours of him possibly leaving the band and going solo.
"I'm all good, I'm 100% in this band. The relationship I've grown with these four boys I didn't know three years ago is absolutely and incredible. I'm very lucky that I get to spend so much time with them," stated Styles.
Meanwhile, in other Harry Styles-related news, the 19-year-old cutie has given his Burberry shirt up for auction to help raise funds for UNICEF.
"Among others you will have the opportunity to bid on Harry Styles leopard print Burberry t-shirt worn at London Fashion Week 2013," says the message on the auction board opposite a photo of Styles wearing the shirt from last month's fashion show. Other celebrities whose properties have gone up for auction includes David Beckham, Liam Gallagher and Ronnie Wood.
