A miracle can happen in quite a number of ways: some think that for a miracle to be authentic, it has to be apporved by the Vatican. Others simply think that waking up is already considered a miracle by many. But for Liam Payne, a quick check up with his doctor already gave him a much needed miracle from a birth defect he has as a child.

One Direction's Liam Payne has recently announced that his damaged kidney has healed itself, and is now in full health. in a show of excitement, he did not waste any time and immediately tweeted the good news to his more than five million followers.

"Just been for an ultrasound on my kidney turns out its fixed form when I was a baby!!! :o so now I have two :) #weirdnewsoftheday" tweeted the One Direction member last August 7.

"One of Liam's kidneys packed up when he was a child, due to his premature birth, and since then he's had to be careful not to overexert himself or put anything in his body that might affect his damaged organ." reports Heat World after the news exploded online.

A packed up kidney does not only mean that Liam refrained from overexertion when it comes to exercise. This also meant that he could not put anything in his body that might add to the already damaged organ. For a long time, this means that he was not allowed to partake in any form of celebratory libations.

Simply put, he wasn't allowed to drink.

Fellow One Direction member Niall Horan is now set on making sure to get him down to the nearest pub for a drink or two.

"@Real_Liam_Payne well if ur kidneys workin now...comin for a pint? ahhaha i joke" replied Niall to Liam's good news.

Liam Payne and Niall Horan are just two of the five-member boy band, One Direction, along with Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson.
