"Directioners" all know that Niall Horan has a huge crush over "Roar" singer, Katy Perry. So it won't come as a surprise to know that the Irish cutie from One Direction had proposed to Katy over Twitter. Obviously, Niall is head over heels in love with the brunette babe.

If there is one girl that has caught the heart of Niall Horan, it's none other than Katy Perry. After sharing a smooch at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2012, Horan hasn't gotten over his crush. Well, it has always been Katy Perry since Niall's "X-Factor" days. It was all thanks to Katy that Niall got through the auditions. For one, Perry is one proud momma.

As for Niall, his cute little crush has gone overboard. After Katy's performance of "Roar" at last Sunday's "X-Factor" show, the 1D member sent out a marriage proposal to Katy on Twitter.

Katy Perry is yet to send out a reply to Niall but she sure might be saying yes to another marriage proposal. That is if John Meyer really pushes through with one.

"Everyone knows it's just a question of when John will propose," says a source to US Weekly.

The couple has been dating for almost a year though with a bit of problems happening along the way. Still, their relationship could head down the aisle anytime soon.

"John wants to do something special probably around the holidays," states the source to Life & Style Magazine.

"He's been asking Katy's friends a ton of question," continued the source, adding, "There are a lot of options on the table. Nothing is ruled out. It could happen on a romantic getaway or during a family dinner."

The big question now is would Katy Perry say yes to another married life? Should Niall Horan do something about it or would his cute little crush stay online as sweet Twitter exchanges? As for Niall, the Irish cutie should certainly learn a thing or two about dating older women. Who could forget his 27-days relationship with Ellie Goulding?

"All men are c**p - at least the ones I've been seeing lately," tweeted Ellie, which was followed up by, "I find a lot of men, especially young men, project the problems they had with previous girlfriends on to me, which is really unfair."

Oh dear, Niall Horan before going after Katy, there are some issues that need resolving with the ex-fling, Ellie Goulding.
