OnePlus 3 release imminent as OnePlus permanently discounts OnePlus 2, OnePlus X and OnePlus One
OnePlus 3 has been spotted on TENNA, a certification body from China. It indicates that the launch date of OnePlus 3 drawing near. The Chinese manufacturer has permanently slashed the prices of OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X smartphones before the release of its upcoming flagship smartphone.
The appearance of OnePlus 3 on TENNA has revealed its photos. The smartphone is expected to come with full metal unibody design. The rear side of the smartphone sports antenna lines on its top and bottom lines. It features a square-shaped rear-facing camera and below it is the logo of the company.
The Chinese manufacturer has slashed the prices of its other smartphones before the impending arrival of OnePlus 3 flagship. The OnePlus 2 that was launched last year is now available for $299 for its 64 GB storage edition. The Champagne edition of the OnePlus X now carries a new price tag of $199.
Even OnePlus claims that it has also discounted the OnePlus One, it is currently out of stock on the official website. If a customer has purchased a OnePlus smartphone within the last two weeks, the company will refund the price difference. However, customers are required to approach the customer support team to avail the cost difference.
OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus 3 through a VR event on June 14. The company has giving away free Loop VR headsets to watch the OnePlus 3 launch event. Speculations are rife that the OnePlus will get rid of the invite-only purchase system for selling the OnePlus 3.
Speculations indicate that the OnePlus 3 that will feature a 5.5-inch full HD screen will come in two storage models of 32 GB with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB with 6 GB of RAM. Both the variants will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset. It is expected to be powered by 3000 mAh battery.
