"The Originals" star Joseph Morgan, who portrays Original hybrid Klaus Mikaelson in the CW spinoff series, sat down for an interview to talk about the other side of his supernatural character which is being a werewolf. The 33-year-old English actor hopes that Klaus Mikaelson will soon deal with his wolf pack as well as his biological father in "The Originals" Season 2.

In an Entertainment Weekly interview, Joseph Morgan revealed that Klaus' focus will not be on his wolf pack when the fans see him in the early episodes of "The Originals" Season 2. According to the actor, all Klaus can think about at the moment is losing his child as well as his strength during a full moon.

However, Joseph Morgan teased that Klaus will always be fascinated with his werewolf side since it is something that is "unresolved" to the Original hybrid. "He is deeply fascinated by that side, and I wouldn't be surprised if, at some point, he has to deal with where that comes from; with his roots and his true father's pack, his birth father and that whole side of him, that whole side of his lineage-that side that he's rejected and hasn't touched on for so long because he was brought up by vampires," the actor explained.

"The Originals" Season 2 will have Klaus dealing again with his parents, Mikael (Sebastian Roché) and Esther (Alice Evans), who came back from the dead to bring trouble to the Mikaelson siblings. Joseph Morgan teased that his character feels Mikael is more of an emotional threat.

The CW star explained that Klaus obviously despises Mikael but all he ever wanted was to receive Mikael's love and affirmation. As for Esther, Klaus thinks that his Original witch mother is a great manipulator.

Joseph Morgan teased that fans will be able to see Klaus' relationship with his mother through flashback scenes that they have already filmed. "His relationship with his parents in general and the truth behind all of those stories and all of that stuff," Morgan shared.

Meanwhile, the CW Network released a promo video for "The Originals" Season 2 titled "My Dinner Date With Joseph Morgan" where fans can see the CW star acting a little bit like his onscreen character, Klaus Mikaelson. The video released featured Joseph Morgan responding to the fans' questions with a little help from his butler named "Alfred." Watch the video below.
