'The Originals' Season 2 Spoilers: Photo Stills From Episode 10 Tease Vampire-Werewolf Conflict At The Compound And More Scenes With Baby Hope
The CW Network continues to tease the fans of "The Originals" with some image stills from season 2, episode 10 titled "Gonna Set Your Flag on Fire." The released promotional photos gave the waiting fans more preview on the upcoming new episode following the details revealed on the released synopsis.
According to an Examiner report, the CW Network released the promo photo stills on Tuesday, Jan. 6, featuring "The Originals" cast members Joseph Morgan (Klaus), Daniel Gillies (Elijah), Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley), Danielle Campbelle (Davina), Daniel Sharman (Kol/Kaleb) and Leah Pipes (Cami). The images teased that conflict will continue between the Mikaelson family members and more scenes will have the adorable baby Hope.
The photo stills also teased a conflict between the vampire and the werewolves at the French Quarter. In one image, Klaus is seen holding Josh (Steven Krueger) back. Another image showed Aiden (Colin Woodell) wounded.
In the upcoming episode's synopsis, Hayley and Jackson (Nathan Parsons) try to bring the vampires and werewolves together to ponder on a treaty. However, Finn (Yusuf Gatewood) placed a spell on the compound trapping the two supernatural creatures together so tension arises.
The other photo stills showed Kol and Davina working on a spell, Cami arriving at the Mikaelson safe house and meeting baby Hope, Elijah and Hayley sharing a tender moment and Elijah and Cami working together. Meanwhile, "The Originals" Season 2, episode 10 synopsis revealed that Original hybrid Klaus will confront his brother, Kol, about the whereabouts of their sister, Rebekah, who failed to return to the safe house.
The upcoming new episode will have the fans saying a temporary goodbye to Aussie actress Claire Holt as actress Maisie Richardson-Sellers portrays the Original vampire Rebekah Mikaelson. According to the synopsis, Rebekah will turn to Cassie (Natalie Dreyfuss) for help inside the insane asylum where Kol trapped her in a different body than what they initially planned in the mid-season finale episode titled "The Map of Moments."
"The Originals" Season 2 is set to return with episode 10 titled "Gonna Set Your Flag on Fire" on Monday night, Jan. 19, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
