'The Originals' Season 2 Spoilers: Synopsis And Promo Video Released For Episode 7, EP Michael Narducci Teases Arrival Of Something Creepy
In the next "The Originals" Season 2 episode, the synopsis revealed that Esther (Sonja Sohn) is still determined to carry out her plan of reuniting the Mikaelson family as witches. A released promo video teased that Klaus (Joseph Morgan) does not need new enemies since all of the drama comes from his own family.
The promo video begins with Kol (Daniel Sharman) telling Davina (Danielle Campbell) what he wants to do to Klaus. "I wanted one thing for years. To drive a dagger into his heart," Kol stated.
Then, Esther tells Finn (Yusuf Gatewood) that she really wants to get her hands on the White Oak Stake. "I don't care what you have to do to get it," Esther told her son.
The next scene showed Elijah still sleeping in bed with Klaus declaring that Esther may think she is currently winning. "We'll go after everything that she loves," Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) stated.
"Have I made you proud, father?" Klaus asks Ansel before the promo video ended. Watch the trailer for "The Originals" Season 2, episode 7 below. The synopsis for "The Originals" Season 2, episode 7 titled "Chasing the Demon's Tail" in a Carter Matt report revealed that Klaus will head to the bayou to search for an antidote to give to Elijah (Daniel Gillies), who has been afflicted with Esther's magic.
Additionally, Hayley will team up with Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), Cami (Leah Pipes), Josh (Steven Krueger) and Aiden (Colin Woodell) in working on a plan to take down Finn Mikaelson (Yusuf Gatewood) which is through his one weakness. As for Kol, the Mikaelson sibling will reveal some of his secrets to Davina as the two characters work together on the spell that can unlink Marcel and Josh from Klaus' vampire line.
Meanwhile, executive producer Michael Narducci teased that "The Originals" Season 2, episode 6 titled "Wheel Inside the Wheel" will show Esther is not really a villain in the CW TV series. The executive producer explained in E!News' TV Scoop report that the flashback scenes in the episode could help the viewers understand why the Original witch wants to fix her family.
"It gives us a sense of who she is and what she has had to deal with over the course of her life and makes us feel more sympathy for her. It also suggests some things that are coming on the horizon that are pretty creepy and will an interesting effect on the Mikaelson family," Narducci teased.
"The Originals" Season 2 is scheduled to return with episode 7 titled "Chasing the Demon's Tail" on Monday night, Nov. 17, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
