'The Originals' Season 3 spoilers: Cami reveals what scares Klaus in promo video

Original vampire-werewolf hybrid Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) feels alone and empty in the promo video of “The Originals” Season 3. Klaus will either face the new enemies in New Orleans by himself or the Mikaelson siblings will put their conflict aside and be united in defeating the new threat in town in the CW TV series’ new season.

Klaus Mikaelson is seen upset in “The Originals” Season 3 promo video because his siblings, Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Rebekah (Claire Holt/Maisie Richardson-Sellers) no longer wish to be on his side and fulfill the Mikaelsons “Always and forever” vow. The conflict between the Mikaelson siblings happened in “The Originals” Season 2 finale where Klaus hurt his family and friends in order to defeat Aunt Dahlia, played by Claudia Black.

In the promo video, Cami O’Connell (Leah Pipes) tells Klaus that he is scared because the people he cares about are angry with him. Klaus has also hurt his adoptive son Marcel Gerard (Charles Michael Davis) and Hayley Marshall (Phoebe Tonkin), the mother of his daughter Hope, in the process of protecting baby Hope from Aunt Dahlia’s threat in the previous season.

“The Originals” cast member Daniel Gillies revealed to TVOvermind at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) that his character’s main goal in the new season is to help free Hayley from the Crescent Curse that Klaus and Dahlia placed on the pack of wolves. In the first batch of promo photos, Elijah is able to ease Hayley’s pain from the Crescent Curse by personally bringing baby Hope to her at the bayou. Click here to see photos.

Aside from dealing with his angry siblings, Klaus will also face the new threat of the Original vampires’ sire lines brewing a war in New Orleans. The first look photos of “The Originals” Season 3 tease the unpleasant meeting between Klaus and his sired vampire named Lucien (Andrew Lees).

“You will all fall,” Freya Mikaelson (Riley Voelkel) warns in the ending scene of the promo video. “The Originals” Season 3 will premiere on Thursday night, Oct. 8, at 9/8c on the CW Network.
