The undeniable connection between Elijah Mikaelson (Daniel Gillies) and Hayley Marshall (Phoebe Tonkin) in "The Originals" apparently made Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) upset and maybe even jealous. Check out the sneak peek videos of Episode 8 titled "The River in Reverse" in the TVFanatic report that shows the vampire-werewolf hybrid angry again at his siblings, Elijah and Rebekah (Claire Holt).

In the video first video clip, Klaus tells Cami (Leah Pipes) about his frustrations when it comes to his brother and sister while she typing down the Original vampire's thoughts. With Elijah, Klaus noticed the connection with Hayley so the temperamental creature ended up hurting again his brother, this time, biting him instead of stabbing him with the dagger.

Actress Phoebe Tonkin claims the Elijah-Hayley connection is "very innocent right now" but Klaus does not see it that way which resulted to having a fear of being replaced and making him do more violent acts even to his own family. "There's the idea that Elijah is usurping his role as father. Having this family is what Elijah wants most - family above all. He's taking on that role, and that is addressed in the show. We're not beating around that bush. We'll absolutely make reference to the fact that you might think that he's the father with the way that he's acting," actor Joseph Morgan shared in the TVLine report.

However, Daniel Gillies teases that his character Elijah will "continue to be magnetically drawn" with the pregnant werewolf. The actor stated: "It seems like the more that they try and resist it, the more that it snowballs. It will be interesting to see where that develops to, because I sense him - at the moment, in the scripts - pulling away really hard, which can signify one of two things: That he's either really going to jump in with both feet or he's gonna wrench himself away from it."

Meanwhile, the second video clip shows Klaus grinding Rebekah for information against his enemy Marcel. Even though Rebekah tells his brother that she has not found out anything new, Klaus still becomes suspicious that his blonde sister is hiding something from him so their conversation turned unpleasant with Klaus reminding Rebekah what he can do when people go against him.
