Kerr was in the midst of an interview on the red carpet when her estranged husband suddenly interrupted her to kiss her on the cheek.

The Australian supermodel had her perfect smile pasted on her face as the 37-year-old English actor asked her if she was doing well.

“Yes,” Kerr replied, bobbing her head a little to emphasise her answer.

If Kerr felt any discomfort during the unexpected exchange, she has hidden it well with her megawatt smile. She did look a bit surprised, though.

Bloom, on the other hand, appeared genuinely happy that he has caught her ex in the party.

The now ex-couple married in 2010 after dating for three years. They have a son together, Flynn, who was born in January 2011 in the U.S.

In October 2013, Bloom and Kerr announced that they had separated months earlier.

“Miranda and Orlando are in a really great space, they’re still very close and I’m sure they knew they’d cross paths sometime during the night. It’s not an issue for them,” a source told MailOnline.

While Kerr is reportedly still on good terms with Bloom, the same cannot be said of her relationship with her family.

In the docudrama series “Family Confidential,” the Kerr family revealed that their 30-year-old daughter has cut all communications from them. Apparently, a bitter feud has estranged the Aussie beauty from her family.

“Miranda’s life is so different now. She’s surrounded by yes people all the time,” a love letter penned by her mother Therese reads. “It’s so important for me to be real, to be true, to be who she needs me to be.”
