'Outlander': Dancing and fun in behind the scenes video; Bloopers and gag reel
A video of “Outlander” TV series has surfaced online that shows what happened behind the scenes while filming the second season. The video is from the bloopers and gag reel of the TV series. The cast members can all be seen making mistakes, dancing and having fun on the set.
[Spoiler alert]
From uncontrollable giggles to burping while filming a love making scene, a video posted on YouTube shows some of the fun moments on the set. The video begins with cast member Caitriona Balfe (Claire) forgetting her lines. Something that Simon Callow (Duke of Sandringham) does later in one of his scenes.
The one crutch word that seems to be the favourite of many of the cast members is the four letter expletive that begins with f. Balfe, Duncan Lacroix (Murtagh Fraser) and Graham McTavish (Dougal MacKenzie) can all be seen using that word.
There were other funny moments on the set, like Romann Berrux (Fergus) doing his best to make the donkey, on which he was sitting, move. The animal refused to budge while filming a scene for “Outlander” Season 2.
Some of the more serious scenes, like the one where Claire pulls out an infected tooth, also became hilarious behind the scenes. The cast members also danced before filming some of the scenes to lighten the mood and prepare mentally.
Filming for the next season has already begun, and the fans can expect to see more behind the scenes videos with the DVD/Blu-ray of the next season as well. New cast members will be joining the show this year. Cesar Domboy will be playing the role of a grown up Fergus. A video posted on the Twitter page of Veronica shows Domboy and Berrux together.
“Outlander” Season 3 is set to premiere sometime in 2017. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date.
