A new “Outlander” Season 1 collector’s edition titled ‘The Ultimate Collection’ will be released soon. The popular TV series is currently in the race to win the nomination in The People’s Choice Awards and executive producer Ronald D. Moore has been named as one of “The Most Powerful Showrunners.”

Online retail giant Amazon has a page on its website that announces the release of the new collector’s edition. Apart from the Blu-ray and the UltraViolet discs, the collector’s edition will also include a limited edition keepsake box and a flask.

The product is currently not available for pre-order and even the release date has not been announced on the page. A report by VideoETA suggests that it will be released on Dec. 1, 2015 and will be priced at $155.99 (AU $212.53).

The show is currently in the nomination race for the Favourite Cable TV Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show in the People’s Choice awards. The two main cast members of the show, Sam Heughan (Jamie Fraser) and Caitriona Balfe (Claire), are also in the race to be nominated for the Favourite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actor and Favourite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress awards respectively.

Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter has recognised “Outlander” TV series executive producer Moore as one of the most powerful showrunners for TV. According to the report, when Moore started to work on the adaptation of the book series by Diana Gabaldon; he gave the Starz CEO Chris Albrecht something that he had been looking for. The show was able to generate a massive interest among the fans, even before the premiere of the first season.

The cast and crew of the “Outlander” TV series are currently working on Season 2, which is expected to premier in March or April of 2016. The new season will take the lead cast members to an entirely new world in France, where they will try and stop the Jacobite rebellion before it starts.
