'Outlander' Season 2: New trailer shows more footage; Sam Heughan arrives in Australia

A new trailer of “Outlander” Season 2 has surfaced online. The trailer teases scenes of war and Claire travelling back to her original timeline. Meanwhile, cast member Sam Heughan has arrived in Australia in order to promote the TV series.

The video posted on the YouTube channel of Amazon Video UK, starts with Claire’s (Caitriona Balfe) conversation with Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix). For the first time Murtagh will come to know about Claire’s secret.

Murtagh is interested in her knowledge about the Jacobite rising and comes to know that it will not end well for the Scotsmen. Claire explains to him that their plan now is to make sure that the rebellion never happens, thereby saving the lives of many Scotsmen and also their way of life.

The trailer teases some action sequences from the next season and Jamie (Sam Heughan) will be taking a major part in it. Jamie is not only involved in the battle, but is also seen addressing a crowd of people. The character has been accompanying Dougal MacKenzie (Graham McTavish) on the road to collect rent and the scars on his back were shown to people to make them understand what they are enduring.

Jamie will be skeptical about whether they can change the future in “Outlander” Season 2. His wife will convince him to take up the challenge. She, however, will be travelling back to the 1940s and be reunited with her first husband later on in the season.

Meanwhile, Heughan has arrived in Australia and has shared a selfie near the Sydney Opera House and called it “little beauty.” Aussie fans were delighted to learn that the actor is in the country and they welcomed him. The fans pointed out the things he should not miss while he is here and one of them suggested he visit Melbourne if he has the time.
