'Outlander' Season 2 spoilers: Jamie carries Claire in his arms during troubling situation
A preview video of “Outlander” Season 2 episode 11 has been released online by Starz. The video shows the Frasers in danger, and Jamie carrying Claire in his arms to safety. The Jacobite army faces its first major setback in the next episode.
[Spoiler alert]
The Jacobite army will face the possibility of a defeat in the next episode. The general of the army suggests that they withdraw, to be able to fight later. However, Prince Charles (Andrew Gower) is adamant about carrying on the fight.
Dougal (Graham McTavish) will be back in the next episode. Prince Charles had asked Jamie (Sam Heughan) to throw Dougal out of the army in the previous episode, but the young Scotsman had an alternative idea of keeping his uncle in the army and at the same time making sure he doesn’t cross paths with the Prince again.
The preview video of the next episode of “Outlander” Season 2 teases that both Jamie and Dougal, along with Claire (Caitriona Balfe) will have to leave the army and go out on their own for some reason. Dougal can be seen telling Jamie that “they” want them both “gone” and “gone now.”
Dougal and the others will be chased by a group of British soldiers. The Scotsmen will take refuge in an old church, but that will not save them for long. The soldiers surround the church at night and order the people inside to surrender immediately.
Jamie will offer to surrender himself, in order to save the others. He is seen telling everyone that he is the only one with a price on his head. The young Scotsman later carries his wife in his arms, out to safety.
It appears that the Frasers will once again go in different directions in episode 11 of “Outlander” Season 2. The preview video shows Claire telling Jamie that they will find each other again, and that he should have trust in that idea.
