'Outlander' Season 3: 'Voyager' sets look 'amazing'
Pictures from the production set of “Outlander” Season 3 have surfaced online. While they don’t spoil anything about the plot; they do give the fans a glimpse of the effort the production crew is putting in for even the smallest details, to recreate the scenes from the book “Voyager” accurately.
A reporter from ET Now, Leanne Aguilera, got a chance to visit the sets of the popular Starz TV series. She called the set “iconic” and added that she can’t wait for the fans to see what’s in store for them. She teased the sets look “amazing.”
Aguilera did post some pictures from the set to help the fans who are suffering from Droughtlander. This picture on Twitter shows a set with candle lights. The reporter did not reveal what scene was being filmed and which cast members were involved.
This picture, posted on Instagram by Aguilera, appears to be from a different set. The props and the setting are plain, compared to the more elaborate decorations in the first picture. Again, the reporter did not give any hints about which “Outlander” Season 3 scene was being filmed here.
One set of props that the fans can easily recognise is that of Craigh Na Dun. Aguilera posed for the camera in this post on Instagram, with the words “don’t touch the stones.”
Co-executive Producer of the show Matthew B. Roberts also posted a picture of Craigh na Dun. The magical stones are the place where Claire’s (Caitriona Balfe) journey really began. It is, however, not clear if the picture is a throwback or from the set of the next season.
Filming of “Outlander” Season 3 is currently ongoing with at least four episodes already complete. The show is set to return some time in 2017, and the producers are yet to announce an exact release date.
