'Outlander' star Sam Heughan shares stage with Duncan Lacroix; Ladies get to take pictures

The ladies were certainly not disappointed when “Outlander” star Sam Heughan took the stage during The Highlanders Convention that was held at the Park Inn hotel, Heathrow. The actor shared the stage with fellow cast member Duncan Lacroix and later posed for pictures with the fans.

Pictures from the event have been posted on SamCaitLife. Heughan (Jamie Fraser) and Lacroix (Murtagh Fraser) answered questions during the panel discussion. The other cast members who also came on stage included Graham McTavish (Dougal MacKenzie), Gary Lewis (Colum MacKenzie) and Stephen Walters (Angus Mhor).

Many of the women got to take a picture with Heughan individually at the event. The actor posed and hugged the fans, giving the fans the pose they wanted for the perfect snap. One of the women also managed to get a picture taken with the actor giving her a peck on the cheek. The other cast members also took pictures with the fans. McTavish was the only one from the cast to wear a kilt at the event.

More pictures from the event have been posted in this page of SamCaitLife. The cast members had a lot of fun while answering questions. Heughan was also challenged to an arm wrestling match. The “Outlander” star lost one of the matches, but managed to win in another round.

A picture from the event posted on Twitter by LaFilleEnRouge shows how the cast members entertained the crowd. “I will protect you!” “Go away Black Jack!” McTavish appears to have said at the event while putting his arm protectively in front of Heughan.

Filming for “Outlander” Season 3 has already begun. Heughan was spotted on the set recently; filming scenes of Battle of Culloden. Caitriona Balfe (Claire) has not been pictured on the set yet. The two characters are expected to be apart in the first few episodes of the show.
