‘Outlander’ TV Series: New Images Of Jamie Fraser And Black Jack
The producers of “Outlander” have released new images of Jamie Fraser and Black Jack. Another behind the scenes image from the second part of the first season gives the fans more hints about what to expect in the upcoming episodes. [Warning: Spoilers Alert]
The producers of “Outlander” recently released an image of Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser. The image shows the actor standing next to Graham McTavish, who plays the role of Dougal Mackenzie and other cast and crew members. The actor can be seen wearing his typical costume and carrying a pistol.
Another behind the scenes image introduces a new character in the TV series to the fans. The image shows an old Englishman wearing a grey suit. Commenting on the picture, some of the fans speculate that this could be the Duke of Sandringham.
Fans of the franchise, who have been following the “Outlander” TV series, will remember the significance of the Duke of Sandringham. The previous episodes of the series showed how Claire attempted to use her limited knowledge of history and about the Duke to escape from Captain Jack Randall.
The role of Duke of Sandringham will be played by the actor Simon Callow. The actor has played the role of the villain in the movie “Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls” and has also been a cast member of popular movies like “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” “Amadeus” and many other movies.
Fans of the franchise may be interested to know if the TV series will reveal more hints about the relationship between the Duke and Jack Randall and if he is in fact the mastermind pulling the strings and supporting the infamous British Captain. Claire is currently caught between Jack and the Scotsmen who plan to start the Jacobite rebellion.
The producers also shared an image of the actor Tobias Menzies as Jack Randall. The image comes with a quote from the infamous Captain that says “The truth carries a weight that no lie can counterfeit.” Some of the fans who have read the books expressed their reluctance to watch the next part of the season, which is expected to get much darker.
Episode 9 of the first season of “Outlander” is slated to air on April 4, 2015. The episode will be told from Jamie Fraser’s point of view and is expected to focus on how he will attempt to rescue his wife from Jack Randall.
