Paris Fashion Week: Rihanna dons pink coat for Dior, Cressida Bonas goes white
Rihanna sat front row with her mother and brother at the Dior show during the Paris Fashion Week on Friday, Oct. 2. The Dior brand ambassador made a grand entrance in a show-stopping coat from the French fashion house’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection. The 27-year-old pop star was the centre of attention during the event.
The “Diamonds” singer opted for an oversized dusty pink coat. The cape coat featured an asymmetric cutout detailing and a patterned neckline. Rihanna paired the coat with thigh-high patent black leather high-heeled boots. She accessorised with dazzling earrings and a statement ring, Hello reports.
RiRi’s hair and makeup were kept simple. Her red tresses were swept up into a chic and curly style. She wore only pale mauve lipstick and black winged eyeliner.
Meanwhile, Cressida Bonas, Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend, also stole the show with her monochrome dress for the Dior presentation. The British beauty turned heads as she arrived at the event wearing a white mini-dress and tan suede boots. The 26-year-old model’s sleeveless mini-dress featured high neck and two pockets. She accessorised with a metallic silver clutch.
Bones' honey blonde hair was down in a straight style, and she opted for almost no makeup except for some mascara and pale pink lipstick. Later in the evening, the model opted for an informal outfit, Hello reports. Bonas wore stonewashed jeans, a sleeveless black top and a matching crop leather jacket. She accessorised with gold rings, a matching cuff, black-quilted handbag with a long silver chain and the same tan boots.
Before the Dior presentation, Rihanna arrived at the Eiffel Tower in a voluminous variegating striped Dior Haute Couture coat, Vogue reports. It featured an Eastern-influenced silhouette with elements of menswear fashion such as huge pinstripe sleeves and pop art graphics.
The coat had blue and red stripes; one sleeve had black and white pinstripes and the other was composed of yellow and black stripes. Rihanna opted for a simple ensemble beneath the coat. She wore a crisp white Dior Haute Couture button-down and dark blue skirt, which she paired with black tights. The “Bi--- Better Have My Money” hitmaker wore ankle-length boots and also carried a black clutch.
