Paul Wesley on Twitter: 'Vampire Diaries' Actor Shares Photo of Filming Experience For Season 5, Episode 18 With Co-Stars Nina Dobrev and Kat Graham Showing Support
Paul Wesley may be busy doing double duty in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 as the actor and director in upcoming Episode 18 but his posts on Twitter show that he is enjoying the experience. Boosting up Mr Wesley's directing role in the CW TV series is the support of his co-stars Nina Dobrev and Kat Graham who also shared on Twitter the experience of working with him.

"The Vampire Diaries" cast members have expressed their excitement about Paul Wesley's directorial gig in Season 5, Episode 18. In the Wet Paint report, Nina Dobrev, who portrays Elena Gilbert/Katherine Pierce on the show, shared a behind-the-scene image of filming the episode with Paul Wesley.

Other TVD cast members and crew who showered Paul Wesley with support included executive producers Caroline Dries and Julie Plec, Marguerite Macintyre (Sheriff Forbes) and Michael Malarkey (Enzo). Even Michael Trevino, who portrays hybrid Tyler Lockwood, showed support but in a different way: pulling a prank on the newbie director.

The actor has revealed that the directing responsibility entrusted to him made him both excited and nervous. "Even though I have been working in TV for years, it ended up being a blessing because I learned invaluable information. They finally granted me an episode, which was met with a great deal of excitement and nervousness on my part," Mr Wesley shared.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 is set to return from a brief hiatus due to the Olympics on Thursday night, February 27, at 8 pm ET on the CW Network. Paul Wesley will return as Stefan Salvatore in the brand new Episode 14 titled "No Exit" where he is determined to find and save his brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder) from his destructive killing-spree behaviour.
